Database Collaboration

One of the early goals of Libraries NS was to provide a suite of online databases to all Nova Scotians.  Under the existing model public libraries license a variety of databases, libraries serving post-secondary institutions license others.  Some provinces in Canada have established collaborative approaches to database licensing. 
 
Libraries NS has struck a committee to look at collaborative access models for Nova Scotia.  The committee began meeting in the spring of 2009.
 
Members of the committee are:
